I whip out <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mastercard.com\">Ye Olde Plastick<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.palmone.com\/us\/products\/smartphones\/treo650\/\">pre-order a new expensive toy<\/a>.  Because damnit, when I&#8217;m living in an oppressive conservative hellhole, I want to be able to surf the net on my cell phone, and engage in the last remaining reat freedom: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bluejackq.com\/whatisbluejacking.asp\">bluejacking<\/a>! <\/p>\n<p>Anyway, the first step in accepting that we&#8217;re all going to hell in a handbasket is <em>spending<\/em>.  Because as we should all remember from the post-9\/11 propaganda, if you don&#8217;t spend, <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pacificresearch.org\/press\/com\/2001\/sfe_01-12-21.html\">then the terrorists win<\/a><\/em>. <\/p>\n<p>Besides, it&#8217;s <em>shiny<\/em>.  It begs to be played with. \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>But seriously&#8230; I&#8217;m beginning to really wonder if we&#8217;re all going to survive another four years of this mess.
