I really have.  But every time I try, something comes up that just <em>makes<\/em> me have to comment on it&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p>&#8230;like the fact that Christian zealots are jumping on the re-election like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rotten.com\/library\/bio\/religion\/televangelists\/jimmy-swaggart\/\">a younger Jimmy Swaggart on a neophyte hooker<\/a>.   Never mind the fact that the margins were slim, this is a mandate, damnit!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/hosted.ap.org\/dynamic\/stories\/S\/SC_BOB_JONES_BUSH_SCOL-?SITE=SCGRE&#038;SECTION=HOME&#038;TEMPLATE=DEFAULT\">So Bob Jones says<\/a>, anyway:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;In your re-election, God has graciously granted America &#8211; though she doesn&#8217;t deserve it &#8211; a reprieve from the agenda of paganism,&#8221; Jones wrote Bush in a congratulatory letter posted on the university&#8217;s Web site.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You have been given a mandate &#8230; Put your agenda on the front burner and let it boil. You owe the liberals nothing. They despise you because they despise your Christ,&#8221; the letter said. It is dated Nov. 3.\n<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Well, he&#8217;s right about one thing: We <strong>don&#8217;t<\/strong> deserve this kind of insane fanaticism.  <\/p>\n<p>Canada is looking better every day.
