So yeah, my server decided that after months of trouble free operation, it too should have Thanksgiving off and took a dump just as I was incommunicado. Sorry for the outage. Things do appear to be stable once again though.<\/p>\n

Also added a little note on the comment form regarding comments. You may notice that comments don’t appear right away once they are submitted. Thanks to comment spammers<\/a>, I’ve had to institute comment screening. This means that instead of posting immediately, all comments that are submitted will sit in a queue until the moderator (that’s me) reviews and approves the comment for display. This allows me to weed out all the ads for online poker that seem to be quite popular among blog spammers these days. While most people don’t care, I prefer to keep advertising to a near nonexistence because I loathe it, and if someone insists of posting ads, I expect to be properly compen$ated.<\/p>\n

For the paranoid: no, I’m not trying to censor anyone who might have negative criticism. Hell, if I don’t want something on my site, I can delete it at will anyway, moderation or no. If anyone has valid negativity to spew my way, I’ll leave it up, of course. <\/p>\n
