Fear not Blackberry<\/a> users: thanks to a settlement by RIM<\/a> of the patent infringement suit against it, RIM<\/a>‘s Blackberry technology can continue to be used in th US, now unhindered by any patents. The legality of RIM’s selling the devices in the US was in question, after NTP Inc. sued Research in Motion.<\/p>\n

NEW YORK – Research In Motion Ltd., the Canadian maker of BlackBerry wireless e-mail devices, said Wednesday it will pay $450 million to resolve litigation with NTP Inc., a Virginia company which said the devices infringed on in its patents.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
