{"id":363,"date":"2005-05-10T17:05:58","date_gmt":"2005-05-10T21:05:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scaredpoet.com\/wordpress\/?p=363"},"modified":"2005-05-15T14:30:16","modified_gmt":"2005-05-15T18:30:16","slug":"firefox-is-now-a-security-loophole-target","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scaredpoet.com\/blog\/?p=363","title":{"rendered":"Firefox is now a security loophole target"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>UPDATE:<\/strong>  These vulerabilities have been fixed with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mozilla.org\">version 1.0.4<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Now that<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mozilla.org\"> Firefox<\/a> is gaining in popularity, it is becoming the target of hackers interested in finding and exploiting flaws in its security.<\/p>\n<p>The Mozilla foundation, developers of web browser Firefox and e-mail client Thunderbird, has recently announced some <a href=\"http:\/\/business.timesonline.co.uk\/article\/0,,9075-1606392,00.html\">newly discovered vulnerabilities in Firefox that could affect the safety of personal data<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>The exploitation of two separate flaws in Firefox means that outside hackers can return to surfers\u2019 previously visited pages.
