A couple of years ago, this site somehow became the de facto clearinghouse for the haps and mishaps of former Static-X guitarist Tripp Eisen. It so happened I like Static-X and it was sorta jarring to find that the guiatrist at the time was not only buggering not one, but two 14-year-olds in two different states, but doing so while pretending to be someone pretending to be him. Yeah, there’s a real mindfuck for ya.

Anyway, after I posted a series of articles on the topic – primarily because the train wreck that was Tripp Eisen was such a, well, train wreck – he was finally put behind bars and then kinda disappeared off everyone’s radar, including mine. Though, even today, people still flock to this blog trying to find out what happened to this guy.

Fortunately, Mugshot roundup finally gives us an update. Oh, goody!

Former STATIC-X and DOPE guitarist TRIPP EISEN has been sent back to jail after reportedly violating his parole conditions. The rocker was released from a California state prison in April 2007 after serving time for allegedly meeting and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in 2005.

But Eisen is now back behind bars after an unknown parole violation and is not scheduled to be released until 19 October 2009.

The scheduled release date has come and gone, so who knows where he is now, whether he’s gone back to music or what he’s doing these days. One thing’s for sure though: jail wasn’t kind to him, and his latest mugshot indicates he might not be the teen fangirl’s catch anymore that he apparently once was.

It’s a been a while since we’ve checked in on our favorite alleged Michael Jackson wannabe. So what has become of Tripp Eisen?

The now-former guitarist for Static-X has spent quite a bit of time in jail since the first charges of statutory rape surfaced. So much, in fact, that when Eisen pled guilty to two felony charges of having oral sex with a minor on September 29 in Orange County, California, he was sentenced to a year in prison, but was essentially a free man, given the credit earned due to time already spent in the slammer.

So now, despite fan denial, we can pretty much come out and say it: Tripp did it, and he’s even admitted to it.

And in case anyone is interested: Tripp Eisen’s mugshot can be found here, from his arrest in New Jersey on a separate set of sex-with-a-minor charges. Let me just say: what a difference some dreads and makeup can make, eh?

But the story still isn’t over. Last we heard, Eisen was scheduled for a second court appearance in New Jersey, on that second batch of statutory rape charges. That was three days ago. If we hear about what happened, we’ll be sure to pass the details along.

Keeping tabs on the traffic going into this site, I can definitely see what the majority of visitors lately are coming here for. So, seeing as visits have been huge in relation to the Tripp Eisen/Tod R Salvador Sex Scandal^TM and associated band defrocking from Static-X, as it were, I felt an update is in order. More details have emerged in the case, courtesy of Blabbermouth.com:

Salvador presented himself in the forum as a 31-year-old impersonator of STATIC-X’s guitarist, never indicating that he was actually part of the band, authorities said. He called himself “T-Rex.”

Salvador and the girl had online conversations beginning in October, according to New Jersey State Police Lt. Kevin Rehmann. From there, the two made plans to meet on Jan. 7.

After having lunch at a fast-food restaurant on that date, police said, Salvador and the teen had “consensual” intercourse in his truck.

“She’s 14,” Rehmann said. “You’re not allowed to do that.”

Ayep.

It would appear that Static-X (rightfully) didn’t want an accused sexual predator in the group, and has parted ways with guitarist Tripp Eisen (aka Tod R Salvador) over his alleged recent exploits.
