Anyone following the coverage regarding Voom has probably wondered what will be become of it, as I have. Finally, Cablevision has decided, and appears in full agreement this time, that Voom is done for. Plans are to finally end the satellite HDTV service on April 30, and unlike the last feigned shutdown, calls to their customer service number (866-931-VOOM) do confirm that this time, it’s for real.
I feel bad for the remaining customer service reps that are answering calls… they certainly don’t sound very chipper.
