Meet Maryann Neabor. Maryann is apparently very good at mixing drinks. Apparently so much so that she managed to mask the sickly-sweet taste of antifreeze by mixing in pineapple juice and maraschino cherries… a concoction she then gave to her brother-in-law. Antifreeze is of course very toxic, and so the victim died from the poisoning.
Her defense? Well, she wasn’t trying to kill the man, per se. She just wanted to hurt him a li’l:
But Maryann Neabor only intended to hurt her relative severely enough so that he would have to move into her home – and she could then take control of his finances, said attorney Craig Mitnick.
