25 years of being Insanely Great

Wow, the Mac is 25 years old today. The above video is of an event that arguably set the tone for computer going forward.

Two things strike me as I watch this:

1. Holy hell, computer graphics SUCKED back then!

2. Holy hell, Steve Jobs looks insanely different!

For those who want to reminisce, there’s a whole website dedicated to the personal accounts of the Apple design team. From the feature inclusions, to the story behind the Mac, to the Drama and Jerkdom that can be His Steveness.

    i like the part where he points to the bag and then pulls out some sort of ugly igloo cooler.

    there was an article i read today that the price of this hunk was about $2500. its nice to see that as technology became faster, smaller, more efficent and easier to manufature apples prices still stayed the same.
