American Airlines sucks ass, cannot schedule flights properly, refuses to own up to its own glaring mistakes, and quite frankly, if AA’s financial troubles continue and they go under, then they will have gotten everything they deserve. A company that has gone downhill so badly as what I’ve experienced in the last 24 hours is simply not fit to exist.
That is all.
Oh yeah, Merry Christmas. Only in Texas will you get stories like these.
Welp, I’m off to Texas for a week, and won’t return until New Year’s Eve. Yeah, Dubyahland. Pity me.
I should have net access so updates might happen, depending on how things go. I wouldn’t count on it though.
In the meantime, my holiday message to all: be it a birthday card or a Chrismtas card, don’t be cheap and recycle. New cards really aren’t that expensive, folks. 🙂
So it’s coming up on Christmas, and the state of Washington still doesn’t know who its next governor will be. Currently it MIGHT be Democrat Christine Gregoire, by a margin of a whopping 10 votes.
Republicans have begun preparing for a lawsuit, and vowed to seek out Rossi voters whose ballots were disqualified because of election workers’ errors and ask canvassing boards to review them.
“It’s certainly too close to call and [Republic contender Dino Rossi] is not conceding,” Rossi spokeswoman Mary Lane said. “This election is not over.”
All indications are that this won’t be resolved before the current governor, Democrat Gary Locke, serves his term. What fun it is when voters can’t be decisive and our candidates are that mediocre.
Some new antispam measures are being tried out, which (if it works) will eliminate the need for me to approve comments before posting. We’ll see what happens.
It involves some hidden javascript ::gasp!:: but I think it’s a better solution than people wondering why their comments are “disappearing” after they post them. That is, until spammers figure it out and come up with a countermeasure.
