Well, Shaaam Baaam Bamana!

Another uncertain election, another uncertain win. Bloomberg is already taking the negative outlook and saying the courts may decide it, again.

Well, in keeping with what I said yesterday, it doesn’t matter who wins. It’s too close, and once again we’ve all said “Feh!” So much so this time we’ve left it all up to friggin’ Ohio.

So either way, it’s gonna suck. It’s just shameful that either candidate would be okay with such a hairsplitting win. And it’s shameful that we can’t seem to make up our minds.

Well, whoever wins the election, you tell them Ronnie Cordova says THEY’RE GAY!!

Vote paranoid!

Seen today on a news site:

Oh, of course, the Republicans don’t need to ask for permission! Screw that whole concept that we as a voting public should be in agreement over who to fight against, and who to “defend” against. Because you see, we’re too stupid as a public to determine who our enemies are. Let’s let the good ol’ Republicans determine who our moral enemies are, and then spend years bombing every place they can and still fail to reign in those enemies. Let them bomb countries and send soldiers to their deaths trying to find threats in places where they simply don’t exist.

Remember that Republicans are the only ones to unilaterally declare war without asking Congress to make the declaration first, as was the original intent of the Constitution. Remember that Republicans have worked long and hard to cast the Constitution aside, all in favor of defending our country. After all, who needs freedom when you have all-encompasing, all-imposing security? You don’t need rights! What you need a government so paranoid that it trolls livejournal entries for perceived terrorism “threats” and uses intimidation to silence the opinionated, no matter how benign the wording might be.

Vote Republican. Vote Paranoid.TM

R. Kelly’s “Foolery”

Welp, for those monitoring the Best of Both Worlds tour (I didn’t even know it existed until now), the tour has been cancelled. The gist? Basically, R. Kelley and Jay Z. perform in New York, R. Kelly freaks out because he thinks he sees a gun or three in the audience (you know, because that’s common in the middle of New York City, where they have absolutely no concerns at all about security, right?) and walks off stage, the event is delayed while massive weapons searches ensue, and when nothing is found, Jay Z. gets pissed and his posse mace R. Kelly, sending him to the hospital for the night. Fun abounds.

R. Kelly is now pressing charges. Obviously, now is not the time to buy tickets for when this tour rolls into your town. 🙂
